Andrea Radrizzani sends pre-match message alongside Leeds United legend Lucas Radebe

Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani and ex-Whites defender Lucas Radebe have sent Jesse Marsch's squad a good luck message all the way from South Africa ahead of their Saturday night clash against Manchester City. The Whites welcome Premier League title hopefuls City to Elland Road tonight, with the visitors knowing only a win will send them back to the top of the table following Liverpool's lunchtime 1-0 win over Newcastle United.

Marsch's side head into the City game sitting five points clear of 18th placed Everton and will be hoping to produce a better performance against the Premier League champions this time around compared to their last match-up which saw Leeds drubbed 7-0 in December.

Both Radrizzani and Radebe, who made over 250 appearances for Leeds during his 11-year stint at Elland Road, looked in good spirits ahead of the game.

The pair posed for a photo and a video outside a restaurant in Cape Town, sending their well wishes to the Leeds United squad and fans ahead of the Saturday night City match.

“I’m here with our legend Lucas [Radebe]," Radrizzani said in the short video.. "Come on lads, we can make it, come on lads."

Leeds legend Radebe added: "Come on boys, we’re here, cheering all the way from South Africa.

“Come on, we can make this. Leeds, Leeds, Leeds. Yes, we’re marching on together!”
