Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has dropped a telling hint that suggests the arrival of Rasmus Kristensen is all but confirmed. The club have been heavily linked with the Danish right-back as they look to make their second signing from Jesse Marsch’s former side RB Salzburg, with the fee believed to be just short of £10 million.
The 24-year-old looks set to follow American attacker Brenden Aaronson, who arrived in West Yorkshire shortly after the club ensured another season in the Premier League with victory at Brentford in May.
Kristensen was asked about his move to Leeds after his Denmark side beat France 2-1 in the Nations League on Friday, to which he kept his cards close to his chest but stated his admiration for such a ‘big club’.

“I do not need to Google Leeds United to know about that club.” He said. “It is a huge club, a traditional club. It is the world's best league, and it will be huge to get a foot in there.”
But while the player was keeping it quiet, Whites owner Radrizzani looked to have let slip by liking a tweet quoting the Dane’s words.
The move has been far from secret in all fairness, with Leeds publicly working alongside Kristensen and Salzburg in order to pip Borussia Dortmund and Brentford to their man. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has kept constant tabs on the development, adding that confirmation is due ‘in the coming days’.
But Radrizzani may have provided the final proof that a deal is set to go through imminently. Denmark travel to Austria on Monday evening for their second Nations League game, but with a four-day gap between that and their home game against Croatia, there’s every chance of full confirmation during the week.
Both Kristensen and Aaronson could be joined by a third former Salzburg player, with Liverpool’s Takumi Minamino reportedly set to be used as leverage in the Reds attempts to sign Raphinha.
Leeds also remain in the market for a striker who can compete with Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt, while reinforcements in central midfield are vital - how many depends on the future of Kalvin Phillips.
