Andrea McLean reveals she hasn't kept in touch with all Loose Women co-stars since exit

Andrea McLean has revealed that she hasn't kept in touch with all of her Loose Women co-stars, though she enjoyed joining her former colleagues as a guest last month.

The presenter, 52, was a panelist on the popular ITV show from 2007 to 2020, with her having decided to leave the programme a few years ago to pursue other ventures.

Discussing her departure in a recent interview, Andrea admitted that she hasn't kept in touch with all of her former co-stars - though there is still some communication.

When asked if she had stayed in touch with the other Loose Women, she responded: "Not everybody but that's the same as anyone who works in an office."

Andrea - who runs self-help membership group This Girl Is On Fire - opened up about her relationship with her former colleagues in an interview with Metro this week.

She said that even when she was on the ITV show, the panelists "didn't really go out very often" as they lived all over the country, but said there's "texting and messaging."

The presenter however returned to Loose Women for an episode last month, with her stating in the recent interview that it was "so good to go back on as a guest recently."

The episode saw her discuss her departure from the ITV programme with panelists Ruth Langsford, 62, Coleen Nolan, 57, Kéllé Bryan, 47, and Katie Piper, 38.

She said leaving the show allowed her to "go all in" with her self-help platform and she created a 10 day challenge for its community to get them out of their comfort zone.

It has inspired her latest book - You Just Need to Believe It: 10 Ways in 10 Days to Unlock Your Courage and Reclaim Your Power - which is out now at various retailers.

Andrea spoke about her departure from Loose Women in an exclusive interview with the Mirror last month, in which she said she didn't regret her decision to leave.

She said: "I look back really fondly on my time there. I was so lucky. I had the best job in the world but it just didn't fit anymore. [...] Most of us will outgrow our jobs at some point."
