Andre Onana 'apartment hunting' in preparation for Manchester United move and more transfer rumours

Andre Onana is on the hunt for a place to live in England as his Manchester United move edges closer, according to reports in Italy.

United are optimistic about the prospect of signing Onana, following the departure of David De Gea. The Spanish international's contract expired last weekend and he confirmed on Saturday he will call time on a 12-year spell at Old Trafford.

Onana has been identified as Ten Hag's prime target to fill the position, and while sources have told the Manchester Evening News a deal is not imminent, there is growing optimism among all involved after positive discussions. And now Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport report the goalkeeper is already on the hunt for a place to live.

The definitive third bid is said to be on the way in the coming days, with the report suggesting it will top the €50million barrier. United have already had two bids knocked back by Inter, the most recent of which was thought to be worth £43million.

Elsewhere, Football Insider reports Burnley and Sheffield United are both interested in a loan deal for Amad Diallo. The 20-year-old enjoyed a brilliant spell with Sunderland in the Championship last season, registering 14 goals and three assists as the Black Cats reached the play-offs.

He returned to Carrington for pre-season this week and will hope to break into the United first-team for next season. But with the wide-attacking area already well-stocked, Ten Hag could decide on another loan deal and would want to place the winger in a tier-one league. Burnley and Sheffield United would both be able to offer that, having won promotion to the Premier League last season.
