Andre Iguodala shouts out Steph Curry following AC Championship win

On July 16, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry was named the AC Championship winner. Over the past week, the sharpshooting guard has been impressing the world with his golf skills. Curry has also gone viral on multiple occasions, with the two main videos being the star guard hitting his first hole-in-one and of him sinking a long-range put.

As pictures of Curry holding his latest trophy began to surface on social media and fans began to share their takes on Curry’s latest success, veteran forward, Andre Iguodala, declared that Curry was the greatest athlete of our time.  The veteran forward’s Tweet went viral and has been viewed over one million times.

Iguodala and Curry have won four NBA championships together during their careers. As such, Iguodala knows first-hand how talented Curry is, despite his lack of athleticism. Rather than being an explosive athlete who dominates with physicality, Curry boasts incredible hand-eye coordination along with elite fast-twitch muscles, which help him change direction and alter his pace at will.

Curry has been a dominant force in the NBA for over a decade and has blended his shooting ability with exceptional off-ball movement. There will certainly be a debate as to whether Curry is indeed the greatest athlete of our generation, yet there should be no doubt that the future Hall of Fame guard deserves to be in the conversation.

With the new season approaching, Curry will once again get the chance to prove to everyone why he’s such an elite talent as he bids to help propel the Warriors toward another championship.
