Two YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) corporators of the Proddutur municipal council attacked each other with footwear, creating a ruckus during the general meeting on Thursday.
Irfan Basha, councillor of the 13th ward, complained to the Chair about the ‘lack of development’ in his ward. But, vice-chairman Khaja Mohiddin raised an objection. Even as Mr. Mohiddin tried to convince Mr. Basha, the latter started abusing him. Both the leaders attacked each other with footwear. The policemen brought the situation under control.
