Bharatriya Janata Party (BJP) Andhra Pradesh unit president Somu Veerraju has said that those who are involved in corruption have got a berth in the Cabinet of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing the media on Monday, Mr. Veerraju dared Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy to allow someone from the backward classes to be the Chief Minister, if he was committed to the welfare of the communities in the State.
Referring to the 25-member new Cabinet, Mr. Veerraju wondered whether any of the Minister could exercise his power. “Those who have been inducted into the Cabinet are involved in the corruption,” he said.
“The newly formed 56 Backward Classes Commissions are still struggling for basic infrastructure. It tells all about the commitment of the State government for the welfare of the BCs,” said Mr. Veerraju.
