Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) fired salvos at Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan for his remarks that he would not split anti-incumbency votes.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Mr. Nani said that Mr. Kalyan was not a full-time politician. Politics was like a hobby for him. He claimed that he had to act in films to run the party. Mr. Kalyan was not spending any amount for the party office’s maintenance. Nor was he sincere, he alleged.
Mr. Kalyan sailed with the TDP and BJP in 2014, and severed ties with them. He worked with the Left parties in 2019. Again he is working with the BJP now, Mr. Nani said.
The Jana Sena Party chief’s mind and body works for the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu though he is with the BJP. In 2024 also, he would strive for the win of TDP and Chandrababu Naidu. But, the YSRCP would retain the power, Mr. Nani asserted.
