The decentralisation of administration by reorganisation of districts will ensure balanced development of all regions in the State, Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy said at the inaugural of Nandyal district at the Regional Agricultural Research Station on Monday.
“A beginning was made for decentralisation of administration by creation of ward and village secretariats and the reorganisatin of districts was a step further in that direction. Very soon, all new districts will have integrated Collectorate complexes in 15 acres of land as announced by Chief Minister. Till then, the administration will continue from this transit office,” said Mr. Rajendranath Reddy.
He congratulated Collector Manazir Jeelani Samoon, Joint Collector Narapureddy Mourya and Superintendent of Police Raghuveerea Reddy as they assumed the respective offices. He wished the people best for a new beginning.
Dignitaries who attended the inaugural meeting included Nandyal MP Pocha Bhramananda Reddy, Government Whip Gangula Prabhakar Reddy, MLCs Issaq Basha, Challa Bhagirahta Reddy, MLAs Shilpa Ravichandra Kishore Reddy, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, Katasani Rami Reddy and T Arthur.
