Anderlea aims to accelerate marketing services for SMEs after early career in the fast lane

More than a decade of marketing experience in the automotive industry is parked behind a new Grimsby start-up.

Anderlea Butters has launched an eponymous consultancy from the town’s Business Hive, having helped support the rapid growth of Read Motor Group in recent years.

There she represented franchises including Alfa Romeo, Hyundai, Jeep, MG, Suzuki and Volkswagen.

It followed senior level work with dealer groups representing Skoda, Seat, Honda and Nissan.

She believes she is in a prime position to take corporate experience and insight to small and medium-sized businesses.

Anderlea said: “I’m hoping to challenge the industry perception with my offering. My goal is to offer marketing support to businesses that don’t require a full-time marketing manager, businesses that are looking to outsource marketing either for a smaller number of hours per month or for ad-hoc projects.

“With my experience, which extends beyond a decade, working in the marketing industry across a range of different brands and industries - both agency and client side - I’m looking forward to assisting businesses solve key marketing challenges from a strategic and operational perspective.”

She is keen to shatter a misguided notion that strategic marketing support is only for larger corporations, offering a fresh and driven approach.

“I’m fortunate to be beginning this journey with some fantastic clients already secured, for which I’m incredibly grateful, but if business owners would like to have a chat about how I may be able to assist in driving their business forward, I’d be happy to do so,” the University of Lincoln graduate added.

E-Factor’s Dudley Street operation has had a major makeover since emerging from lockdown, with the Basecamp co-working space created to aid a new model of working.
