Morley is becoming the new up and trendy place for drinkers and diners to venture out to, with Morley Bottoms proving popular and new restaurants popping up all over the place - but what's the takeaway scene like here?
New to the area I'm still sussing out where to get the best takeaway from, when I spotted the latest opening, Andalus, I just knew I had to try it.
Andalus, Morley, specialise in peri peri chicken, gourmet burgers, wraps and desserts - they have huge fridges with ice cream and cakes in the window that all look incredible.

I ordered my food via their website which was really easy to use. I decided to have beef in pitta (£6.10) with a side of peri peri chips (£2.00) and coleslaw (£1.50) - you pay a £2.00 delivery charge as well. The food came within 30-minutes, it was still nice and hot and the delivery man was lovely and friendly.
The portion sizes were pretty good, you got loads of chips and coleslaw but I did feel like the pitta could have done with some more salad in, maybe some extra lettuce and tomato wouldn't go amiss.
The beef itself tasted a lot like a burger cut into strips which I didn't expect but definitely tasted good. And the chips had lots of peri peri salt on, exactly the way I like it - the coleslaw was fresh and tasted delicious.
My only regret was not ordering dessert because they looked so good last time I walked past, but I was full up off my meal - I couldn't eat all the chips and slaw.
I have had an ice-cream from the takeaway prior to this meal which I could possibly go as far to say as it was the nicest ice cream I've ever tasted. It was Ferrero Rocia flavoured and came with huge - as what I can describe as - stocky bits of the chocolate.
I have a feeling Andalus might be my pitstop on the way home from Morley Bottoms on a Saturday night or my weekend treat of cake and ice cream.
