Airing on the newly branded Max - formerly HBO Max - in the US, viewers in the UK will be able to watch the series from June 22 on NowTV and Sky Atlantic and will drop weekly after the first two episodes which will be available to watch straight away.

Soon after, Sarah Jessica Parker added: "Season 2 of #AndJustLikeThat premieres June 22 on Max. Consider this your official invitation. And plus 1s (or 2s, 3s, 4s...) are all welcome here. Hope you’re hungry. X, SJ"

But what's new in season 2? Who's returning? Here's everything you need to know...

When is Season 2 of And Just Like That... out?

Season 2 of the Sex and the City spin off And Just Like That... will be dropping its first two episodes on Max on June 22, 2023. Here in the UK, we'll be able to stream it via Now TV and Sky Atlantic.

Who is returning?

As well as Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis' Charlotte Goldenblatt, nee York, and Cynthia Nixon's Miranda Hobbes, Che Diaz played by Sara Ramirez will be returning alongside Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury.

Also reprising their beloved roles will be Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino, Karen Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace, Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, Cathy Ang as Lily and Alexa Swinton as Rock. David Eigenberg will be back as Miranda Hobbes' former husband Steve Brady and Niall Cunningham as their son, Brady Hobbes. Also back is hard to please, cold and calculated Vogue editor Enid Frick, played by Candace Bergen.

Fans were ecstatic to hear that another familiar face from the original series would be returning - no, it's not Samantha; although we'd all love to hear that were the case. In fact, former flame Aiden Shaw - played by John Corbett - is back on the scene, donning his long locks and leather jackets in the streets of New York. Now Big is no longer in the picture, will we see Carrie and Aiden rekindle their romance? If the new trailer for the series is anything to go by, we think so!

What is the plot?

Similar to the first series, the plot line is set to be kept secret until the episodes are released. Speaking about the future of the show, executive producer Michael Patrick King told Digital Spy: "When Sex and the City was good, we showed four individuals all experiencing different versions of the same question, which is, 'How do you fulfil yourself?'

"That's what we're doing now with even more characters."

How many episodes will there be?

In season one, SATC fans indulged in ten episodes. And, as reported by Vanity Fair, the second series will feature one extra episode, meaning that we'll get to enjoy 11 episodes of pure drama, joy and fashion as And Just Like That returns to our screens.
