We’ve already got the quick hits from Week 1’s final New Orleans Saints injury report, but let’s take a deeper dive and see who’s in, who’s out, and who has a chance to play against the Tennessee Titans — while surveying the Titans’ own injury situations. The regular season is finally here, but some players won’t be able to suit up and participate.
If you just want a brief glance at each player’s status, check here. But we’ll be recapping what was reported on each of them throughout the week and how it impacts their availability for Sunday:
Available
- TE Jimmy Graham and RT Ryan Ramczyk were both listed on the injury report but were simply given veteran rest days before practicing fully later in the week.
- CB Marshon Lattimore (knee) was limited to start the week but upgraded to full participation and is expected to play.
- The Titans listed several players on their injury report this week who were still full participants at practice while receiving treatment, and they’re each expected to be available: WR Treylon Burks (knee), LB Arden Key (calf), and QB Will Levis (quadricep). Additionally, WR DeAndre Hopkins and TE Trevon Wesco were given veteran rest days.
Questionable
- RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) did not participate in practice this week but the Saints are giving him a chance to work out before the game and test his injured. We’ll see if he’s able to go but he is officially questionable to play.
- For the Titans, LB Harold Landry (abdomen) and OT Dillon Radunz (knee) are both questionable after being limited Wednesday and Thursday, but they both practiced fully Friday and should be expected to play on Sunday.
Ruled out
- WR Tre’Quan Smith (groin) has been pre-emptively ruled out after he did not participate in practice this week.
- S J.T. Gray (shoulder) has been pre-emptively ruled out after he did not participate in practice this week.
- Additionally, the Saints have three players out for the year on injured reserve: RB Eno Benjamin (Achilles), LB Andrew Dowell (knee), and OG Trai Turner (quadriceps).
- Tennessee CB Tre Avery (hamstring) will not play this week. The Titans have a couple of players sidelined on injured reserve of their own in DT Shakel Brown and WR Kyle Phillips, with CB Caleb Farley on the physically unable to perform list.
