When it comes to the Tennessee Titans’ snap counts from the Week 12 win over the Carolina Panthers, there wasn’t too much that stuck out on either side of the ball.
The most notable thing on defense was safety Elijah Molden seeing less playing time in favor of fellow safety K’Von Wallace. It’s also worth noting that linebacker Monty Rice was once again involved in a rotation.
On offense, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins seeing the third-most snaps at the position was certainly worth mentioning, as was tight end Trevon Wesco leading his position group.
Now, a look at the full snap counts for offense and defense from Week 12.
Snap counts and analysis: Offense
-Nick Westbrook-Ikhine led all Titans receivers in snaps, followed by Chris Moore, DeAndre Hopkins and Kyle Philips, who saw just 12 snaps for the second straight week.
-Trevon Wesco led the way in snaps among tight ends. Chig Okonkwo out-snapped Josh Whyle after the rookie saw the field more than him in Week 11.
-Derrick Henry was on the field for 13 more snaps than Tyjae Spears, who exited briefly after taking a big hit.
-Jeffery Simmons saw two snaps on offense but wasn’t targeted this time around.
Snap counts and analysis: Defense
-Amani Hooker, Kristian Fulton and Sean Murphy-Bunting were the only Titans defenders to play every snap.
-Monty Rice continues to be involved in the defense but saw 12 less snaps than Jack Gibbens after the pair split work evenly the week prior.
-Ross Blacklock played 12 snaps in his Titans debut.
-K’Von Wallace played 62 snaps, the most he’s seen since joining the Titans. Elijah Molden’s 36 snaps were the fewest he’s played since Kevin Byard was traded.
