Analysts Give The Green Light To Two Stocks With Brighter Outlook Than Even Nvidia

One way of managing the larger market risk is to look for stocks with strong setups that prompt bullish reviews from analysts. Investor's Business Daily's stock screener for companies with rising profit estimates has plenty of names on the list, but two seem to be weathering the recent market troubles better than most others — Carpenter Technology and Exelixis.

How Invested In The Stock Market Should You Be Right Now?

Carpenter Technology stock recently broke out of a cup base with a buy point of 198.24. Shares are in a buy zone and remain above their 50-day moving average.

Analysts see profits rising 52% in 2025 and earnings per share of $7.18. They are also bullish on the company's profitability for 2026 and see earnings rising 23% to $8.86 per share.

Carpenter Technology stock holds a Composite Rating and Relative Strength Rating of 97 with an EPS Rating of 81.

Carpenter Technology makes specialty metals such as nickel and cobalt. More funds have been net buyers of the stock over the past three quarters. The stock also holds an Accumulation/Distribution Rating of B+ and that shows funds have been busy buying the stock over the past 13 weeks.

Exelixis Just Below Buy Point

Analysts also expect profits to rise for Exelixis. Shares of Exelixis stock sit just below a buy point of 36.97.

How To Find The Correct Buy Point

Profits are expected to rise 1% in 2025 to $2.02 per share and 16% in 2026 to $2.35 a share. Mutual funds own 63% of the stock with more funds being net buyers over the past two quarters.

Exelixis stock also holds an Accumulation/Distribution Rating of B and a Composite Rating of 96. The EPS Rating of 93 is also outstanding while the stock has outperformed 95% of other stocks in the IBD database over the past 52 weeks.
