Analyst says Titans must address quarterback in their way-too-early look at 2025

The NFL season is almost over with the Super Bowl coming up in a little over a week. For the Tennessee Titans, it has been a busy month. They have rebuilt their front office, made some changes to their coaching staff and started detailed draft prep.

For the team over at Yardbarker, this is the perfect time to take a way-too-early look at the Super Bowl potential for AFC teams

TENNESSEE TITANS (3-14) | Is there a C.J. Stroud or Jayden Daniels in this year’s draft class? | The Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, putting them in a position to add a QB, the team’s biggest need. If it chooses wisely, Tennessee might be able to replicate the success of previous worst-to-first turnarounds in Houston and Washington in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

With the offseason in its infancy and free agency and the draft ahead, it is impossible to make any claims for the 2025 season. Especially with a draft class that appears to more questions than answers at the quarterback position. Top prospects Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward are the best, but they both come with questions and the need might not meet the value.

While quarterback is definitely a need this offseason for the Titans, they need more than that to climb out of the 3-14 hole. With questions along the offensive line and a need to add weapons on the outside, their offense needs an influx of talent to become average. Their defense is closer, but it also requires some edge help and quality depth to become a consistently stout unit.

Everyone will see what direction the new front office decides to take when the free agency window opens on March 12, and is followed up by the NFL draft in Green Bay on April 24. The Titans have a lot of work to do and will likely make some significant roster moves leading into 2025.
