Time to fire up the GIF from The Office: Oh my God, OK it’s happening!
For years, college football fans have been clamoring for EA Sports to get back to publishing video games based on the sport after the publisher stopped in 2013. Since then, we’ve seen some inklings that the game would come back now that the maker could pay the players for their likenesses.
But we’ve seen rumors of a trailer dropping turn out to not be the case. Since then? Nothing.
… Until Thursday! Fans noticed @EASPORTSCollege on X (formerly Twitter) changed its profile photo and bio: “Coming this summer. Full reveal in May.”
