The action on the court between top-seeded Miami and Duke was top notch during Thursday night’s ACC tournament, and the excitement didn’t drop off at all during timeouts. For one second half break, a fan of each team took to the court at the Greensboro Coliseum for a shooting contest.
Miami’s fan was enthusiastic throughout the entire process, flashing the U hand symbol to the Hurricane fans and pep squads on his way out to the playing surface. Once on the court, he cashed in big with a half-court make that made him a winner. While that was fun on its own, it was his reaction that really made things fun.
After the make, he sprinted towards the Miami band, taking a dramatic spill along the way. That didn’t phase him, popping right back up to hug the Miami mascot, Sebastian.
