An Irish Goodbye star James Martin and Colin Farrell shared a special moment before the BAFTAs, as the former Starbucks employee paid tribute to the Hollywood veteran.
Belfast actor James Martin, whose short film An Irish Goodbye bagged a BAFTA for best short, was starstruck after meeting the Banshees of Inisherin star at a pre-BAFTAs party.
"It’s not every day you’re in the running for awards, never mind hearing that heroes like Colin Farrell want to meet you," James said, as quoted by the Belfast Telegraph.

James, who has Down Syndrome, described his hero Colin Farrell as a "fabulous actor."
Mencap in Northern Ireland, who support thousands of parents, carers and people with a learning disability, said on the night: "Look at our #jamesmartin up there on stage winning a #BAFTA!"
The Northern Irish short film, co-starring James, tells the story of two estranged brothers entangled in the complications associated with dealing with the death of their mother.
James thanked everyone for the BAFTA and said "it is changing my life every day."
He previously worked in coffee chain Starbucks and is looking forward to chatting with his family to see which way he will take his life, now that the BAFTA win has "opened a lot of new doors."
James is keeping an open mind as he looks ahead to the Oscars, which falls on the same day as his 31st birthday, he told Channel 4 in an interview this week.
"I do like Belfast and Northern Ireland," he said, when asked if he would consider moving to Hollywood following his newfound stardom.
