A five-year-old Australian borzoi named Kohl has become internationally recognised as a very good boy after topping his class at the world’s top dog show, Crufts. WOOF!
Kohl — who is named for his distinctive eyeliner-esque markings — was entered into Britain’s best dog show by co-owner Kay Sneath and handler Gerald Munro after cleaning up awards on the Aussie dog show circuit.
Out of the 122 borzois entered into the four-day competition, Kohl and his cronies left with a ribbon for Khol after he was deemed the best borzoi.

For those who aren’t extremely aware of dog breeds, a borzoi (also known as a Russian Hunting Sighthound) is a breed of hunting dog. They’re known for their predominantly white, wizard-like fur and long features.
Please examine exhibit A below whilst noting the long, wispy features.

Interestingly, Khol isn’t your average pretty pooch. He was born in Canada and has four co-owners. While he currently lives in Melbourne with his handler Gerald, he came to Australia last September after blitzing the dog shows in his home country, the United States and Britain.
With his latest win, Khol’s worldwide fame in his doggie circles is only growing. Plus, Kay says that he really is a bona fide chiller.
“He’s not just a beautiful specimen of the breed; he has a fabulous temperament,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“You couldn’t imagine doing this trip all the way from Australia with a dog that was anything other than, you know, very laid-back and easygoing.”
As an honourary Aussie dog, Khol had to undergo rigorous tests before he was allowed to travel. Upon his return, he will have to quarantine.

God speed, Khol!
