An animated Will Levis accidentally blasted a Titans staffer with a chest bump during comeback win

I’m never gonna be one to tell athletes to dial back their passion and energy, especially in the heat of the moment. After the Tennessee Titans’ absurd 28-27 comeback win over the front-running Miami Dolphins on Monday night, I wouldn’t have blamed anyone connected to Tennessee for exploding with joy. That includes Will Levis, who played the game of his life — he’s apparently the first rookie ever to throw for at least 300 yards on Monday Night Football –to lead the comeback.

But man, if this is going to be a thing moving forward, Levis has really gotta learn the definition of “friendly fire.”

After a late Derrick Henry touchdown run put a bow on the Titans’ bonkers comeback victory, Levis was seen roaring on the Tennessee sideline. When a Titans staff member approached the young quarterback, Levis accidentally unleashed a chest bump no one could’ve reasonably been ready for.

Judging by the Titans’ staffer’s apparent reaction of pain, I don’t think he saw that coming, either:

Levi’s career has only just begun. I don’t think he’ll dial back this energy, nor should he. But even if this was entirely accidental, I’d be wary of approaching the quarterback without pads on in the future. It’s just not worth the trouble.

This was how Twitter reacted to Levis's passionate energy
