Amy Fitzpatrick’s family and friends gathered to wish her a happy 30th birthday at a touching vigil in the Edenmore sensory garden.
Back in 2008, 15-year-old Amy went missing on the night of New Year's Day in Calahonda, on the Costa Del Sol in Spain after leaving a friend's house.
The Dublin teen was living on the Spanish coast with her mother Audrey, brother Dean, and Audrey's partner Dave Mahon.
Today, her nearest and dearest gathered with candles, musiciains, and a priest to remember her on her big day.
Theresa Kelly, volunteer at the Edenmore sensory garden told Dublin Live: “We hope that people see that Amy is alive and well in all of our hearts and that somebody will come forward.
"Let’s all light a candle and hope for Amy tonight."
Amy’s friend Amy Carroll said: “We’re here today to support her family, it’s her 30th birthday and this is where Amy is supposed to be and she’s not here with us unfortunately.
And pal Shauna Grehan added: “We’re here for Amy’s 30th birthday because she should be here with us celebrating, but she’s not.
“So, happy birthday Amy”.
