Strictly Come Dancing 's Amy Dowden and James Bye will take on a "first" during Halloween week on the BBC One competition. The Welsh professional dancer and EastEnders actor will perform some lifts that "have never been done on Strictly before".
The pair teased the news on Strictly's spin-off show It Takes Two, confirming they would be dancing the Charleston for Halloween week on Saturday, October 29. Giving viewers a glimpse of what's to come, Amy said: "I'm going to be an evil bumblebee."
James then teased: "There's going to be loads of lifts. Whenever we've done a dance so far one of your feet has to be on the floor, whereas now, two feet in the air. We've got some big, big lifts coming."

Amy, who hails from Caerphilly, interjected: "I mean, some of these lifts have never been done on Strictly before, and they are risky they really are."
"For you, not for me," James responded: "I've got both feet on the floor the whole time but Amy is upside down, over my shoulder."
"I am doing a flip somehow," Amy added. It comes after the pair performed a routine to the EastEnders theme tune last week to mark the BBC's 100 years.
Speaking about the "emotional" performance, James explained: "If I'm honest with you, it wasn't pressure, I just felt so overwhelmed with it. 100 years of the BBC, dancing to the theme tune of EastEnders, it started getting to me a bit.
"I got emotional on the night out of nowhere, it's not like me to do that. So yeah, it was an absolute honor." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
