Amy Childs is cautiously moving forward with her romance with Billy Delbosq after enduring a ‘difficult’ time together that sparked break-up rumours.
The 31-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star has been in a relationship with gym owning businessman Billy for nine months – but the romance hit a road bump in recent weeks.
Fans feared the worst when Amy inexplicably erased all trace of Billy from her social media history – prompting speculation they had thrown in the towel on their romance after less than one year.
But Amy then raised hopes that the relationship had been salvaged after she shared fresh social media content of herself and Billy enjoying champagne together at luxury London hotel Claridges.
Now a source has claimed the couple are fully back on track, with a friend telling new! magazine: “Amy hasn’t split up with Billy, but they did have a discussion to work a few things out.”
It is claimed that the couple had a wobble after Amy became distracted by big changes in her personal life.
The source claims: “They have been under a lot of pressure. Amy is in the process of selling her house and it all became too much.”
And drawing a line under the rumours of a split, the source went on to say Amy and Billy are in a very good place.
The source said: “It’s a new relationship, but they are absolutely fine now.”
Amy has previously opened up about her relationship with Billy, hinting she had fallen head over heels for him soon after they met.
She said during a recent episode of Towie: “I do rush into things, I definitely do. But I’ve got to say, I’m definitely in love with him.
“I’m just so happy. I’ve told him I’d love to marry him and he said he wants to marry me as well.”
It’s not just marriage with Billy that Amy has considered – as she confessed she can picture herself having children with him.
The mum-of-two already shares daughter Polly with her builder ex Bradley Wright, and two-year-old son Ritchie Jr with businessman ex Ritchie.
But she thinks she could have yet more children with Billy – who she met via reality show First Dates.
She said during an Instagram Stories Q&A earlier this year: “I always said I would like two and that’s it. But since meeting Billy I feel completely different – 100% in the future.”
Having babies has made Amy something of an authority on parenting – with good friend Gemma Collins recently explaining that she turned to her fellow reality star for advice.
Gem said recently: "I was with Amy Childs at the weekend and we had a friend’s wedding and she’s like a guru at how to get pregnant.
"She was telling me that there’s certain days in the month that you’ve got to do this. So I basically appointed her to be the head of my pregnancy.
"She’s told Rami what days we’ve got do it on and all that. So we’re reporting back to Amy every time we do it!"
