In a year to remember, Amy Broadhurst has been named the best light welterweight boxer in the world.
It has been a year to remember for Broadhurst after she captured World and European gold and ends the year as the top ranked fighter in the world.
The Dundalk woman came home with gold in May, becoming just the third Irish woman to do so after Kellie Harrington and Katie Taylor.
And she is also nominated for the RTE Sportsperson of the year award.
And in the end of year rankings, Broadhurst has been named the number one light welterweight in the world.
She is the only Irish female boxer to be named at number one but Kellie Harrington is ranked second in her respective weight class with her ranking impacted as she did not compete at the world championships.
Fellow gold medal winner Lisa O'Rourke is ranked third after her gold medal win earlier this year.
