Amy Broadhurst marched into the last 16 of the European Games with a convincing unanimous decision win over Serbian Milena Matovic.
The World Champion of 2022 was dominant throughout and cruised to a 5-0 win as she kept her hopes at Olympic qualification alive.
The Dundalk native will now face Latvian Beatrise Rozentale in the last 16 of the 66kg competition on Monday.

Should she win that bout, the 26-year-old will not only march on to the quarter-finals but will move one step closer to qualifying for her first Olympic Games in Paris next year.
Speaking after the bout, Broadhurst said: "I wasn't going to win by going in there and trying to blow her away. I did what my coaches wanted me to and that was to rely on my speed rather than power and I was pleased to get the three rounds in," said Broadhurst.
"It was good for me to get a last-32 draw because there will be girls sitting around for days waiting to get under way so the fact that I've been in the ring is nice."
