The Detroit Lions have caught everyone’s fancy. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown did a deed that will enhance the team’s stature.
St. Brown has dyed his hair blue. A Lions fan in hospice care, Larry Benjamin, did the same and the word go to St. Brown and the team.
They reached out and sent an autographed jersey to Benjamin. who suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Heartwarming: This elderly #Lions fan is currently in hospice but made sure to dye his hair blue like Amon-Ra St. Brown for the playoff run.
“A lifelong Lions fan hoping for the best,” his son posted.

“It’s awesome,” St. Brown told Mlive.com. “I saw it, someone sent it to me, one of my friends and a lot of people ended up sending it to me. It’s just awesome to see. It’s humbling as a player to know you can touch other people’s lives just by playing a sport and being who I am. So, it’s awesome to see.”
