Amon-Ra St. Brown expected to play vs. Patriots with his ankle injury

There is some positive news on the Lions injury front. Top wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is expected to play in Sunday’s matchup in New England against the Patriots, according to several morning reports.

St. Brown is officially listed as questionable with an ankle injury, one that kept him sidelined in Week 4. With fellow starting WR DJ Chark ruled out with an ankle injury of his own, getting St. Brown back in the lineup would be a huge boost to the Lions offense.

Through the first three games, St. Brown led the Lions with 23 receptions and 253 receiving yards. He also scored three touchdowns in helping lead the Lions to the top streak of touchdown-scoring quarters in team history.
