Amir Khan and Kell Brook could both retire after their upcoming fight against one another.
The two will finally face off in a grudge match in Manchester on February 19, in a fight that has been a number of years in the making.
Both Khan and Brook have called each other out at numerous points throughout their careers but a contest in the ring has not materialised until now.
There has been no love lost since the bout was confirmed, with security having to get involved when the pair clashed at a press conference to announce the fight.
The bout is seen by many as a swansong for both, not to mention one last pay day before they retire.
Now, both fighters have confirmed that this could be their last ever fight.
Bolton-born Khan confirmed that whilst he's confident ahead of facing Brook, this will definitely be the last time he competes in the ring.
Khan wrote on Instagram: "I leave it to God to decide which round I knock Kell Brook out. I am going to win the fight 100 per cent. People ask me what I'm doing after this fight. I'm done, man."
Meanwhile, Brook said he's feeling revitalised ahead of his upcoming fight, and has considered carrying on. But should he lose, he will retire.
Brook told DAZN: "I don’t really think about losing. But if we have to bring that up and, even though I can’t get that in my head that I am going to lose, but I would call it a draw.
"End of the boxing, [gloves] to be hung up."
Despite concerns over appetite for the fight, Khan’s bout with Brook has nevertheless set a box office record, with Manchester's AO Arena event selling out in just four minutes.
The contest has become one of the fastest-selling events in British sports history, and now stands as the biggest box office take for an indoor sports event in the UK, as well as the fastest sell-out for a UK boxing event.
