Two professional competitive eaters are journeying to Prescot from America to take part in a huge food challenge.
Yada, based on Eccleston Street in Prescot, is popular thanks to its decadent burgers, made using fresh local ingredients. The father and son owned business aims to offer customers a warm and inviting environment, where they can relax with good food.
Now, the hit venue will play host to American YouTube sensations Randy Santel and Katina Eats Kilos, who have embarked on a trip hitting numerous locations to take on various food challenges from across the pond. The pair have amassed hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram, and boast a combined following in the millions on YouTube and Facebook, with fans keen to see them tackle an array of epic and elaborate eating challenges.

Yada's ' Massive Chicken and Waffles Food Challenge ' costs £50. Challengers are given 45 minutes to complete their food, and if they prove successful, the £50 meal is free and they'll bag a Yada t-shirt, a Yada cap and get their name and picture on the wall of fame.
The famed pair will take on the challenge separately, with Randy's platter brought out first at 5pm. They will tackle:
- Four portions of Yada's crispy chicken tenders tossed in each of the restaurant's popular flavours - salt and pepper, BBQ, buffalo hot, and garlic and parmesan
- Four maple syrup and bacon waffles
- One Belgian dessert waffle
- A milkshake of their choice
Regardless of whether Randy succeeds or fails to polish off the vast amount of food, Katina will follow with a fresh platter and try to eat every last bite. Both will be filming their antics for their social media channels.
The YouTube pair will arrive at Yada an hour before the challenge begins, where they’ll be available to meet followers, fans and diners. They’ll also be signing free photos and taking selfies with the crowd. The challenge will take place today, Thursday, September 8, at 5pm at Yada, 64 Eccleston Street, Prescot, L34 5QL.
