An American who have recently moved to Edinburgh is baffled after finding an unwanted guest in his bathroom.
Taking to TikTok under the handle 'Ed-in-burgh', Ed says how he has seen two spiders in his bathroom but is shocked at the size.
In the video clip, he turns his camera to show a house spider in his bath, but adds: "This is considered a tiny spider here."

He said: "I like spiders, but this is some b*******, Scotland. This one's about two inches across, they get double the size!"
Questioning Scottish people, Ed added: "It is cold here. How do your arthropods get this big?!"
The remainder of the video clip shows the new Edinburgh resident struggling to get a glass over the spider with the soundtrack of Spiderman playing in the background.
Many flooded to the comments, some were Scottish who warned that they do indeed get bigger, while others were horrified to learn of our big eight-legged friends.
One wrote: "Welcome to Edinburgh."
Another said: "That's a baby house spider. Tradition is you give them a name and leave them well alone."
"No, no, no! I need to believe Scotland is a beautiful mythical place!" A third added.
And a fourth reassured Ed: "House spider. They're so big because they're indoors. Completely harmless and will keep all the other bugs away."
When Ed eventually does get the glass over the spider, he wiggles paper and under it and puts it outside.
As he throws it out, he exclaims: "Out you go, you monster! Away! Get out!"
This isn't the first thing Ed has been confused since arriving in Edinburgh. The Scottish morning rolls came as a surprise to him as he asked why anyone would like the taste of burnt of bread.
Speaking of the well-fired rolls, he said: “A dinner roll that is burned on top. Why is this a thing? This country befuddles me.
“Is it for people who gave up smoking but still need a fix? Is it supposed to remind you of your childhood when dad made breakfast?"
