US talk show host and comedian David Letterman was spotted rambling around in Dublin on Tuesday.
The popular producer paid a visit to Cavistons in Glasthule, South Dublin where he could be seen talking to the owner, Peter Caviston.
David Letterman was spotted buying cheese and oysters and is also believed to have visited the Forty Foot swimming area in Sandycove.

The owner's son Mark Caviston told Independent.ie that his father Peter was “delighted” to meet the TV legend.
Speaking to the Irish Independent, he said: “We had a bit of fun with him this morning, he’s a very nice man. He just landed out of the blue, sometimes you just don’t know who could come through the door."
The 75-year-old hosted late night TV talk shows for over 33 years, beginning with Late Night with David Letterman on NBC, and now hosts a chat show style series on Netflix called My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
On Monday night, Netflix released his interview with Ukraine President Vlodymyr Zelensky.
Letterman interviewed Zelensky 300ft beneath a subway station in the capital city for the new Netflix special My Next Guest with David Letterman and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which premiered on 12 December.
Mr Zelensky prompted laughs from the audience as he joked about Russia and Nato, making fun of Putin’s labelling of the war as a “special military operation.”
Letterman was doing his rounds and even stopped into Panti Bliss' dressing room on Tuesday evening.
Panti shared an image of the two on Twitter, saying:
“I don’t usually let any Tom, Dick, or Harry into my dressing room, but occasionally I’ll make an exception for a Dave.”
It’s not known why David Letterman is in Ireland, but many speculate that he may be filming for his Netflix show.
Some members of the public spotted the US host walking down Grafton Street with U2 members Bono, and The Edge.
Taking to Twitter passers-by shared their excitement at the celebrity sighting.
One said: “omg Bono, the Edge and David Letterman just walked past us on the street filming something.”
Another said: “I just saw bono in Dublin and tried to drunkenly run after him but it obviously wasn't allowed. Think he was shooting some yoke for Netflix. Some craic tonight now.”
