American Express 2025: Tee Times, Schedule, & Weather Forecast

The 2025 American Express, also known as the Desert Classic, is set to tee off on Thursday morning in La Quinta, California. The PGA Tour will officially begin the West Coast Swing as players on the Tour start to gear towards playing signature events at the end of the month.

The American Express field will feature some of the world’s best golfers, with Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, Sungjae Im, Sam Burns, and Justin Thomas taking on the La Quinta Country Club, PGA West Nicklaus and Stadium Course.

The unique format will feature three courses and will result in three rounds and a 54-hole cut. The final round will be played on the Stadium Course on Sunday.

While the field talent isn’t overpowering, the weather looks very promising in La Quinta. The forecast shows next to no wind and almost perfect conditions for golf.

The field will be split across the three courses with tee times beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET and pairings teeing off every 11 minutes from the 1st and the 10th hole on each course. With multiple courses, the pace will be quick and the last tee time is scheduled for around 1:42 p.m. ET.
