Amber Heard fears Johnny Depp will sue her again to achieve 'total global humiliation'

Amber Heard fears Johnny Depp will sue her again as she claims he wants to achieve his dream of 'global humiliation'.

The Aquaman actress, 36, made the revelation during the latest instalment of her TV interview with NBC Today.

In recent weeks, Amber lost a multi-million dollar defamation case against her ex-husband of 15 months.

Speaking to journalist Savannah Guthrie, Amber said: "I know he promised it. I testified to this. I am not a good victim, I get it. I am not a likeable victim. I am not a perfect victim. But when I testified I asked the jury to see me as human and here, his own words, which is a promise to do this, it seems as though he has."

Asked whether she felt she could be sued again for defamation, the actress added: "I am scared that no matter what I do, no matter what I say or how I say it, every step that I take will present another opportunity for silencing, which I guess is what a defamation lawsuit is meant to do."

On whether she is nervous on what she can now say, the Hollywood star concluded: "Of course. I took for granted what I assumed was my right to speak."

Following her loss of the case, Amber denied she has been sacked from Aquaman.

She has been embroiled in the defamation trial with Johnny, resulting in a jury ruling in favour of the actor on June 1.

Amber portrayed the role of Mera in the 2018 hit film which grossed over $1.1 billion (£913.97 million) at the box office worldwide, making it the highest global-grossing Warners-DC title ever surpassing The Dark Knight ($1.08 billion).

Filming has already finished for the sequel, which is due for release on March 17, 2023 in the UK, but rumours circulated on Tuesday evening that Heard had been cut and was set to be recast.

However, a spokesperson for the actress quickly shot down the speculation, saying in a statement to DailyMail.com: "The rumor mill continues as it has from day one - inaccurate, insensitive, and slightly insane."
