Amber Heard has told the court that her ex-husband Johnny Depp hit her in the face with a mobile phone after accusing her friends of leaving faeces in his bed.
The 36-year-old returned to court today to give evidence after a week-long break in her US defamation trial with her 58-year-old ex-husband.
During her time on the stand, Heard has spoken of how her relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor started and then progressed, alleging that he physically and sexually assaulted her, writes The Mirror.
Depp denies ever physically or sexually assaulting Heard.
Today, Heard spoke about an alleged incident in May 2016, a month after the pair had not seen each other and when she says the marriage was over and "falling apart in front our eyes".
She said that his mum had died and Depp wanted to see her, and he visited her home in LA.
She said at first it was "relatively peaceful", and Depp was "inebriated" but not "incoherent".
She said Depp started talking "about the faeces again", saying one of her friends left it in his bed, which she denied.
"Our marriage was over, falling apart in front of our eyes, his mum had just passed, I couldn't believe he wanted to talk about faeces", she said.
Heard called a friend who Depp was accusing of leaving the faeces, and Depp went on to scream "at the top of his lungs" and insult Heard.
After Depp walked away the friend, who was on speaker phone, "reminded me I wasn't safe", and told her several times to get out of house, Heard told the court.
Depp heard this from the stairs and "bolted down the stairs" to grab the phone, and started "screaming", calling the friend "every imaginable name you can call an LGBTQI person."
eard told the court: "When he was done he said 'you want to have my woman, you want to have my bitch? You take her, you can have her' " With that he pulls his arm back with my phone and throws it at my face, hit me, it felt like my eyes."
"I am sitting on the couch, I didn't even have time to put my hands up", she said.
She described how Depp started "taunting her" and grabs her by the hair.
She says Depp was "yanking" her around the room and taunting her when her best friend, Raquelle, walks in and sees the two of them.
The Aquaman actress told the court Raquelle put her arms between the pair, saying "Johnny no".
Raquelle then put her arms around the actress after Depp "barrelled towards" Heard, she described.
She alleged Depp was screaming "Amber get the f**k up" about ten times.
She described how the actor's security guards came in and he then left.
Depp is suing Heard for alleged defamation over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, in which she said she was a victim of domestic abuse.
The Aquaman star is countersuing him for $100million (£81million).
The trial continues.
