Amber Gill reveals creepy comment former school teacher made about her looks

Amber Gill has revealed a former female teacher made a creepy comment about her looks when she was at school.

The Love Island 2019 champ told her Instagram fans that she was called a "pretty young thing" by the teacher in question, when she was quizzed by her followers in a Q&A on Wednesday night.

When Amber, 23, was asked: "How was school for you?" she opened up about her experience and admitted she was "naughty but smart" and that one particular moment left her "traumatised".

She began: "I did not like school overall. I feel like from young I used to get anxiety going in. I didn't have many friends (I don't think) and I was super misunderstood."

"I was very naughty but smart," Amber continued. "Wanted to wear makeup and have a short skirt.

"Got put on ‘report’ once, can't remember why but wore the pink sheet in the top of my blazer like a badge of honour. Lol I was such a d**k and I love it."

Moving onto the strange comment made by her teacher, she explained: "Before the attitude when I was just a cutie, one teacher said, 'She's a pretty young thing, she might get by on her looks'.

"Get by? She said get by… I'm not just 'getting by', I'm thriving."

Amber jokingly fumed: "She thought she did something the little witch."

Sharing more of her "traumatic" experiences from school, Amber felt "robbed" when she was put in what she felt was the wrong class by her teacher.

"I was also robbed when I got put in my year seven set by my year six teacher who had a vendetta against me for no reason (before I was naughty)," she told her 2.7million followers.

"That woman put [me] in the second BOTTOM set??? Like on what planet do I go there. I ended up moving quickly. I think the highest class I got to was set three but it was too late, I was traumatised."

However to lift the mood, Amber did confess to having more positive experiences throughout school.

"I did have good points though. Wasn't all bad I promise," she concluded.

In recent weeks, the Geordie reality star admitted she has a new love interest.

Not confirming any information about him, she told Entertainment Daily : "I'm not saying anything else. I'm not single and ready to mingle, that's all I'm saying."

Teasing her loyal fanbase, Amber added: "It's someone I've known from before, it's not somebody I've known from lockdown onwards. But yes I'm happy, I'm really happy."
