Amazon has slashed the price of Google's latest Pro-tech model, taking more than £200 off the price. But the deal is tricky to find.
As shared by the tech team at The Mirror, Amazon has discounted a range of Google products in a new sale week, the Amazon Google Brand Week. This means shoppers can now buy the Pixel 7 Pro for £685 as opposed to its original £845 asking price.
In fact, it's currently the cheapest price on the UK market as retailers including John Lewis and pay-as-you-go deals with Vodafone are still asking for a minimum of £800. Despite the discount, Amazon has kept the spotlight off the latest Google deal.

Unless you dig for it on their website it's not obvious. It doesn't even appear in the 'today's deals' section or the 'Lightning Deals' page which is a common discount hotspot during the retailer's big Prime Day sales. Instead intrigued shoppers have to search for Google in the search engine and scroll down to find the Pixel 7 Pro deal.
Amazon hasn't specified how long the £200 discount will be available for or why it decided to slash hundreds off the model but looking at the tech calendar it could be said it's down to Google's upcoming releases.
Similar to following Apple's iPhone 14 launch or Samsung's newest S23 handset, we can expect to see a new Google Pixel range hit the market this coming autumn, as the potential Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro overtakes. This is likely to significantly reduced the price of the previous model, which is something Amazon could be gearing up towards.
Amazon's Google Brand Week as other products slashed by £
There's not a lot of information circulating surrounding Amazon's Google Brand Week, and compared to the retailer's Spring sales and Prime Day sales it's a lot more discreet. That doesn't mean there aren't a handful of deals to take advantage of.
Along with the discounted Google Pixel 7 Pro shoppers can find discounts on other products and handset models including the recent Pixel 7a, brought out this April 2023 as a budget version of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7a.
The 2021 handset, the Pixel 6 Pro, is also on offer with £329 off the original £849 price, although not a new handset the model still has up to date camera quality and is compatible with the latest Android software.
Google's Pixel smartwatch is also available for a discounted price on Amazon, reduced from an original £379 to £279.
