Amazon slashes Le Creuset dish by almost £80 - how to get early Prime Day deal

Amazon Prime Day is just one day away, but some incredible deals have dropped early for shoppers to take advantage of.

From homeware to technology, Prime Day is an annual shopping event created by Amazon offering deals exclusively for members. The deals are only available for a limited time, encouraging shoppers to take advantage of the offers within the specified sale period.

This year, Prime Day covers 48 hours and falls on July 11 and 12 - Tuesday and Wednesday this week. But as usual, a number of deals are released in the run-up to the main event.

One such deal is Le Creuset’s oval casserole dish which has been reduced by almost £80 in an early bird deal. The classic cast iron cookware, which is the French brand's signature dish, has been slashed by 25%.

With room for up to six portions, it can be used both in the oven and on the hob, which makes this a versatile addition to any kitchen. It's also dishwasher safe.

It comes in varying sizes, with the 25cm reduced from £245 to £183.75, and the most popular size of 31cm slashed to £231.75 from £309.

It's worth noting that the deal is only on offer on select colours, including orange, azure, cerise, coastal blue and teal to name a few.

How to get Amazon Prime Day deals

Prime Day is only available to Amazon Prime members, so you'll need to be signed up for the scheme to get access to any of the discounts. Check your account to see whether your existing Prime membership is still running.

Shoppers can get around this by signing up to a free trial. If you don’t want to fork out on a membership, there is a way to still take part in Prime Day without spending a penny on Prime.

The free trial is available to anyone who hasn’t had an Amazon Prime subscription in the last 12 months.

To start your free trial, you’ll need to sign up via the Amazon website - you'll then have full use of Prime for the next 30 days.

It costs £8.99 per month; £95 per year. Amazon Student membership fees are: £4.49 per month; £47.49 per year.

After the 30 days is up, you will start to be charged £8.99 per month for your subscription - so do remember to cancel it if you don't want to pay.
