With less than six weeks to the big day, shoppers have been stocking up on Easter treats from new and exclusive chocolate eggs, to unusual hot cross buns. And the Cadbury Creme Egg is an Easter must-have ideal for egg hunts, or simply to satisfy that sweet-toothed chocolate craving.
The eggs are typically sold between January and Easter, usually costing around 60p. But now Amazon shoppers can bag them for nearly half the price at 35p.
It comes as the online retail giant has slashed the prices of their box of 48 eggs from £27.84 to £16.80 , knocking a whopping 40 per cent off the price.

What’s more is that if you order before the cut off time, they can even be delivered before 7pm the very same day.

The global chocolate brand has created a half white and half milk chocolate Creme Egg which must not be eaten, and the lucky finder could win up to £10,000.
Cadbury Creme Eggs were launched in 1971 and after just four years they became a cult classic through the power of TV advertising.
Now more than 200 million of them are sold in the UK every year, with around 1.5 million being made every day at the Bournville factory.

The 8,496-calorie box of Cadbury Creme Eggs is the cheapest bulk buy option online and undercuts the likes of Cadbury Gifts Direct, which is selling the 48-pack for a discounted price of £28, down from £30.72.
Morrisons are selling boxes of five Creme Eggs for £2, which works out £2.40 more expensive than Amazon’s box of 48.

The supermarket does have a range of other Cadbury Easter releases, though, including a Cadbury’s Mini Eggs bar, the Caramel Egg’s and the Hot Cross Bun edition chocolate bar filled with raisins.
But if it’s just Creme Eggs that have your heart, Iceland stores are now stocking an exclusive giant Cadbury Creme Egg dessert.
The dessert consists of a giant chocolate shell, filled with a white chocolate mousse, with the classic yellow Creme Egg fondant in the centre, and is available to buy now for £6.
