Amazon Prime members can claim dozens of games in March – how to get yours

Gaming is in a funny old place. We’re talking about GTA 6 potentially increasing AAA game pricing to $100 and beyond, and yet it’s never been easier to dine out on entirely free games. And not just free-to-play ones either.

The latest round of free games recently landed courtesy of Amazon, with titles ready to unlock from Epic, GOG and even Xbox.

You’ll need an Amazon Prime membership to claim these games, but once you do, they will stay in the relevant library, ready to play whether you keep subscribing to Prime or not.

Here’s the current roster of freebies:

Epic Games

GOG

Xbox/Windows Store

Amazon Games

Legacy Games

That’s not all for March either. Here are the upcoming additional titles Prime users can pick up over the next couple of weeks:

From March 20

From March 27

By our count, that’s 46 games to claim for Prime members. And you can expect more to come next month, with Amazon’s freebie plans usually announced over at the Prime Gaming Medium blog towards the beginning of each month.

Wondering what’s actually worth playing? As is often the case, there are some real classics on offer here.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a great immersive sim game, while both Bioshock games on offer are minor classics of the first-person shooter genre.

For something with a completely different pace, try out Syberia: The World Before. This is a graphic adventure, a story-based title and part of a series that began all the way back in 2002. But there’s a recap of the story in The World Before, so you don’t need to have played those oldies.

Coming later in the month, don’t miss The Forgotten City either. It started off as a Skyrim mod but was made into its own game, a mystery adventure where you explore a Roman-era city stuck in a time loop.
