Gadget lovers keen to beef up their home security with the summer holidays coming can pick up a bargain thanks to a wide range of Amazon Prime Day deals on Ring home security devices.
Ring are the market leader in smart doorbell tech and traditionally their products are discounted heavily for both Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday. But this year shoppers have more options to choose from than ever before, with prices reduced by up to 47% on some of the range already despite the much-anticipated shopping event not technically starting until tomorrow, July 12.

But it's not just Ring doorbells in the promotion this time around, with one of the best deals the retail giant is offering giving two stick up or battery version cameras for 57% off alongside a free second generation Echo Show 5 perfect to control all your smart home tech.
Effectively the £109.98 bundle transforms your existing Ring doorbell into a full home security camera system and is available now for the full duration of the Amazon Prime Day promotion or until stocks sell out, whichever happens sooner.
If you've not had a Ring doorbell before there are also several different versions of the classic doorbell available in the sale ranging from entry-level models up to some of the more advanced versions.
The most economic way to get a Ring doorbell for your home is to opt for the wired version, which is currently available for £35.99 for the hardwired version or £45.99 for the plug-in version, reduced by a whopping 64% and including a choice of a free Echo Dot or Echo Show 5 depending on whether you want a screen on your smart speaker or not.
With the Echo Dot's RRP alone coming in at £39.99 these prices are a significant saving for shoppers keen to pick up either a new Echo or a new Ring setup.
The wired doorbell can be installed into any compatible existing doorbell wiring or shoppers can buy a plug-in adapter at an additional cost to plug it into a standard electrical socket. The doorbell includes a 1080p HD video camera with two-way talk facilities, advanced motion detection, high definition night vision features and customisable privacy settings.
By linking it to the Alexa device like the Echo Dot or Echo Show you can receive instant notifications as soon as anyone either presses your doorbell or triggers motion sensors near your camera. As well as controlling your doorbell with the Echo you can integrate with other elements of your home with compatible devices including turning on lights or adjusting central heating thermostats.
Amazon Prime Day officially launches tomorrow and runs until 11.59pm on Wednesday, June 13. Early deals are already available here.
