Today is Amazon Prime Day 2 - where Prime users can get special discounts on thousands of items.
Amazon's Prime Day sales normally take place in July.
But after the success of the sales earlier this year, Amazon has decided to breathe new life into the sales and is holding Prime Day 2 across October 11 and 12.
Amazon's early access sale yesterday already saw hundreds of items slashed in the sales, and now the mega deals arrive today.
The snag is the offers are only open to Prime customers.
Prime membership gives Amazon customers faster delivery - with many items turning up on the day you order.
Other perks are access to Amazon Prime videos, films and music, as well as grocery shopping.
Amazon Prime normally costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year. Amazon Student membership fees are £4.49 per month and £47.49 per year.
However, you can get free Prime membership if you sign up to a 30-day trial.
This will cost you nothing for a whole month, and if you keep it then subsequent months are charged at full price.
But if you only want to buy something in the Prime Day sales, and aren't interested in keeping Prime membership long term, you can cancel before the term ends.
Make a note in your diary of when your membership comes to an end, so you don't end up paying for months you don't need.
If you are shopping for an Amazon Prime Day deal, make sure you’re shopping for something you actually need - after all, a bargain is only a bargain if you were going to buy it in the first place.
The best way to avoid impulse spending is to write a list of everything you’re planning on buying.
Ask yourself which items are a “want” and which are a “need” and place them in priority order on a piece of paper.
Then write down your maximum budget for each product.
Like past years, retailers like Currys, Argos, John Lewis and more often price match with Amazon, so it's worth keeping an eye on competitors - especially when looking for specific products.
You should also do a quick “ Google Shopping” search by typing in the name of the item into Google to see if you can get the same item cheaper elsewhere.
