Amazon has already dropped the price of its range of Fire TVs with the cheapest 2 Series coming in at just £149, a discount of £100. There are also big discounts on the 4K 4 Series versions, which allow you to watch streaming services such as Netflix and Disney+ in higher quality.

Some of the most promising reviews said it has a "really great light" and thought it was overall a "good buy". Pete said on the Amazon website: "First thing to say is this is a decent TV at a good price ... but it could be better.

"It's a really light unit which is great but fitting the feet is surprisingly difficult and it would have even nice if they made them fit a bit better. Picture is good but not perfect

"Set up takes a while and is not too difficult but you need to be at least reasonable with technology. Start to finish set-up took about 40 minutes. A good range of apps but some come up 'not available'. Overall a good buy."

Another said: "I am using this tv in my office and find it the perfect size. Overall I am reasonable happy with it."
