Amazon customers can get £10 credit using photo deal before the end of January

Amazon is offering Prime customers £10 in credit for backing up their photos. The mega-retailer is encouraging people to use its photo storage app, Amazon Photos, and rewarding them for doing so.

The limited-time offer, which ends on January 31st, will give unlimited storage for photos and up to 5gb of video. Photos can be set to automatically back up to the app overnight, so you never need to worry about losing your pics if something should happen to your phone.

First-time customers need only upload at least one image using the app and within seven days, the credit will be added to their account and will be notified by email. If successful, they will then have up until February 15th to spend their credit.

Whether you fancy stocking up on household essentials, treating yourself to something tasty or splurging on a new gadget, it’s hard to argue with taking £10 off the bottom line. And Amazon Photos will mean that if you accidentally drop your phone down the loo, there’s no mad rush to soak it in rice because you’ve lost the hundreds of photos you took of your sleeping cat.

The app can automatically back up your photos each night so everything is available in the cloud. So when you upgrade your phone or if you have to reset it, everything is available at the touch of a button.

The move is another offer that highlights all the benefits of Prime membership that aren’t just free delivery. Amazon Prime also offers customers access to Prime Video and Prime Music.

For those who prefer to bury their nose in a book, Prime Reading offers a whole host of fiction and non-fiction books as well as comics, graphic novels and magazines. And instead of spending on more than one subscription, Prime customers can share all of their benefits with another adult in their household, meaning they can benefit too without the costs.

To redeem the Amazon Photos offer, check whether your Prime account is eligible first. You can do that by visiting the offer page on Amazon’s website.
