Amazon Big Spring Sale live: our TV and headphone experts’ real-time buying advice

Amazon Spring Deal Days 2025 promotional image with Amazon boxes.

Another month, another Amazon sales event. Yes, the new Spring Deal Days bonanza is here, bringing with it a wealth of deals on TVs, headphones, music streamers, projectors and more.

If you are in doubt about a specific deal's price, wondering whether those speakers you’re hovering over will match with your current system, or are after a specific product, then you’re in luck.

What Hi-Fi?'s audio and home cinema experts will be on hand throughout the event to update this live hub with the latest deals we have spotted on Amazon – and, come to that, other specialist retailers we trust.

As always, beside a few special exceptions that we will flag, we will limit our recommendations to those products we have reviewed, and will make sure to price-check the deal to confirm it hasn’t been cheaper before.

On top of that, thanks to What Hi-Fi? site's shiny new comments system, we’ll also be taking questions.

So if you want some specific buying advice make sure to drop your question in the comments section of this article and we’ll do our best to get back to you.

And Amazon's Spring Deal Days, or Big Spring Sale if you're across the pond, is live. We're currently running through the first batch of deals checking if they're worth your hard earned cash. While we do, feel free to take advantage of our new comments system and drop any questions, or products you'd like us to look for deals on. We'll then try and get back to you ASAP.

If like many of us you don't have over £1000 to splurge on your next set, but still want a decent sized TV, we have some good news. We've spotted a great saving on the five-star Samsung QE55Q80D.

While it doesn't have Mini LED or OLED panel tech, it seriously impressed our reviewers when we tested it last year offering competitive gaming features, impressive levels of contrast and decent audio (by in-built TV speaker standards).

Hence why we continue to recommend it and stand by our reviewers' verdict:

"With its powerful processing, rich colours, excellent contrast and potent sound, the QE55Q80D is pretty much the consummate mid-range TV."

If you're after a cheap, small secondary TV that won't break the bank we've got a deal for you! One of our favourite small, cheap TVs is even better value thanks to this stellar Amazon Big Spring Sale deal.

Specifically, the 24-inch Roku smart TV is down to just £99 at Amazon right now. The TV is a solid option even at full price thanks to its use of the Roku smart platform.

This means it has excellent inbuilt app support, which isn't guaranteed on sets this size and price.

Add to this its good, albeit not perfect, picture quality, which is immersive enough for casual viewing before bed or while cooking in the kitchen, making it a solid option and easy recommendation this Amazon Spring Deal Days season.

Sony's former flagship XM4 models have been a staple sight in our best wireless headphones guide for quite some time.

And while they are beginning to show their age, and there are definitely better sonic performers available at the premium end of the market, at their current price the Sony WH-1000XM4 are a solid option for serious music fans on a budget.

You can currently grab a pair for just £178 at Amazon, which is a cool £172 off their launch price. At this segment of the market we'd continue to recommend them, with the XM4 easily remaining top performers for audio, ANC, battery life and fit, at this price.

The current deals on the five-star Sony WF-C500 are another great example of why you should do your research before jumping on a deal.

Though the current price, which lets you grab the five-star affordable headphones for £44 at Amazon looks appealing, if you take the time to shop around you'll see a better offer running.

Specifically, the newer Sony WF-C510, which proved to be a solid improvement on their predecessors during our extensive testing and comparing the two models, are even cheaper. You can buy the WF-C510 for £40 right now.

Having run the two head-to-head when reviewing the new model, the C510 are the better option overall, making them great value. Trust us, you're better off with the better-sounding new C510, especially when they're four whole pounds cheaper.

Searching through Amazon's latest Spring Sale and stuck on whether you should go for its current deal on the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones or Sony's WH-1000XM5 wireless over-ear headphones?

You're not alone as it's a tricky decision. Both flagships are five-star performers based on our testing and are enjoying decent discounts during this sales event.

Specifically, you can grab the Bose headphones for £330 at Amazon right now, which is a solid price considering they cost £450 at launch.

Meanwhile, Amazon is also selling the Sony model for £249, a similarly impressive cut on their £379 launch price.

But which is the better deal? To help you choose between two superb headphones, our deputy editor, Andy Madden goes through the pros and cons of both models, but ultimately has one simple piece of advice: "My money would go on the Sonys, mainly because I think the saving delivers more bang for your buck and their all-round abilities make them a fantastic pair for most people."

Hot off the press! Sony WF-C710N officially launches – but there's a great deal on the five-star C700N

Sony has just announced the WF-C710N wireless earbuds, which boast improved ANC, longer battery life, touch controls and some nifty new finishes (we're all a bit in love with the 'glass blue' colour). They supersede the Award-winning WF-C700N earbuds, which have been one of our favourite affordable wireless buds for the last couple of years.

We're still waiting on review samples of the new 710N, but are told that they use the same 5mm drivers as the outgoing C700N – so will there be any sound performance changes between the two? We are curious to find out.

What we can tell you, however, is that the five-star C700N – which are still terrific performers for the money, despite being two years old now – are now down to £70 as part of Amazon's Spring Sale – that's a £30 saving on their original RRP. If you're after a solid pair of buds that deliver comfort, good ANC and really engaging sound that betters the competition by miles, then it's worth considering.
