Amazon Alexa is reportedly down throughout parts of the UK, with users sharing on social media their experiences with the faulty units.
Device across the country have been ignoring requests, and people who own the virtual assistant home devices say they have seen a solid blue light on the machine — as well as experiencing error messages.
The units are also not appearing on the corresponding Alexa app, meaning owners cannot troubleshoot the issue.

As reported by Bristol Live, UK users starting experiencing issues with the technology at around 8am on Friday morning.
Downdetector, an online platform that provides users with real-time information about the status of various websites and services, saw 8,000 complaints about Alexa in the span of just a few minutes.
Users have since taken to Twitter to share their experiences.

One Alexa owner tweeted: "Been screaming at my Alexa to play music for 15 minutes only to find out the service is down".
A second added: "Do you know you suffer from first world problems when because #Alexa is down you have to physically turn on your light switch".
An Amazon spokesperson said: "This morning we had an issue that impacted some Alexa customers' ability to interact with the service. The Alexa service is now operating normally."
