The Liverpool Echo had dedicated its latest Memory Lane special to Merseyside summers and memories of years gone by.
As the weather starts to warm up, we'll all be getting excited to enjoy the British summertime or venture abroad for a well-deserved break. But no matter how good of a time we have in the heat, we still look back at the good old days having fun in the sun.
Some traditions never change, with Merseyside families flocking to the likes of New Brighton or playing in Crosby sand dunes. Whereas other have many a memory of venturing further out, visiting Blackpool, Rhyl and more.
