Amari Cooper thinks Browns wide receiver room has added good talent

In his first season with the Cleveland Browns, Amari Cooper did what he normally does producing over a thousand yards and setting a career-high with nine receiving touchdowns. He did so with an injury down the stretch that resulted in him having off-season surgery. He spoke with the media during phase one of off-season workouts for the Browns and said that he is recovering well.

When asked about the talent added to the wide receiver room Cooper agreed that it will positively change the room. Let’s take a look at what Cooper had to say during his media availability earlier this week.

On how he is feeling:

“I’m good. Healing up real nice. Just ready to get the work in this offseason program and, you know, get better.”

On his second year with the team and if anything is different this time around:

“Of course. You know, second year. Obviously, I know what to expect. I wouldn’t say there’s anything different, other than I’m just more comfortable.”

On how his recovery went:

“It went Well. The recovery went well. I’m on the eighth week of it now, so I feel good. I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

On Cleveland Browns adding WRs Elijah Moore and Marquise Goodwin and how it affects the offense:

“In a good way. Goodwin, he’s real fast, and Elijah. I feel like talent makes talent better. Once we get to see everybody on the field, I think all the other guys will respect their talent and, you know, just make the team better overall.”

On how Moore and Goodwin complement the offense:

“Yeah, I think it just gives us more opportunity as an offense. You know, those guys being able to stretch the field, especially Elijah. He’s a South Florida guy. I already know what to expect. I’ve seen a lot of clips of him even before he got here with the route running and everything. Like I said before, it’s going to make everybody better.”
