Amanda Holden vows to never tone down her risky dress sense as she loves the controversy

Amanda Holden has confessed to loving causing controversy with her revealing outfits - and vowed to keep them coming.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 50, continues to flaunt her stunning physique at every possible opportunity, be it online or in front of the television cameras. While not everybody appreciates her choice of outfits, the radio presenter certainly seems in no mood to change her ways.

Nearly two million fans follow the new I Can See Your Voice panellist and enjoy her regular fashion updates, but there is a minority who tend to kick up a fuss - and often complain to Ofcom - and to them she says tough!

Speaking to The Sun, Amanda said she's received far more backlash as she gets older. She defiantly said: "It’s hilarious how much controversy my outfits have caused — people have got so much time on their hands.

“I mean, no one really paid much attention to what I wore when I was in my twenties or thirties. I enjoy it, it’s all good fun. I would always rather be overdressed than underdressed for any situation. That’s been a general rule for me since I was about five."

And she admitted she might take even more risks with her clothing in the future as she tries to push the boundaries on her new show.

"It’s a bit more edgy, perhaps, on this show," she continued. "Not in the way everyone talks about certain parts of my body on BGT, but I guess more of an edge."

Despite her risky outfit choices, she is adamant she's not wearing the clothes to impress men and is instead dressing for "other women and myself".

She went on to praise the stars over the age of 50 for continuing to strive for glamorous looks, name dropping the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lopez as prime examples.

Amanda insists her goal is to help rid the stereotype of people over 50 needing to dress a certain way. She said: "Hopefully it means we can shift that old-fashioned attitude of, ‘Well, I can’t wear that because I’m 51’, or, ‘I can’t do my hair this colour because I’m in my fifties’."

The fashion talk comes as Amanda's eldest daughter, Lexi, 16, gets ready to embark on a career in modelling after signing a big-money deal with a leading agency.
