Amanda Holden's fans have supported her as she announced she is taking on the "biggest challenge of her life".
The Heart radio presenter is swapping her stylish stilettos for bulky boots as she takes on the Three Peaks for charity. Taking to Instagram, she shared a picture of her wrapped up warm in a red, waterproof jacket with the two very different shoes in each hand.
The 51-year-old captioned it: " I’m swapping my stilettos for these glam boots for a challenge of a lifetime – the iconic ‘Three Peaks Challenge!’ I’ll scale the highest mountains of Wales, England and Scotland, climbing 10,476 feet in 24 hours for @globals_make_some_noise. In her Instagram Stories, Amanda shared a selfie where she had her headphones and a pair of sunglasses on as she stood in a field. She wrote: "In training for the biggest challenge of my life."
Celebrity friends flooded the comments with messages of support. Her co-host Ashley Roberts said: "U got this sister!!!"
BBC's James Stewart said: "EPIC! You absolute star - gonna smash it." Fellow BGT judge, Alesha Dixon, said: "That’s my girl."
Fans joined in on the well wishes too. Duncan said: "Gerrin! This is all the awesome! You got this. Enjoy the hike!"
